Internet Basics
     Description


     Learn about the Internet, the worldwide computer network that allows people to
     communicate and exchange information. This course provides a basic
     understanding of the Internet and World Wide Web, but assumes students 
     have basic surfing skills. Topis includ modems (56K, ISDN, DSL, and
     cable), web browsers (Internet explorer and Netscape), Internet Service 
     Providers, surfing strategies, secure transactions, cookies, Anti-virus software,
     and firewalls.

     Requirements

     Computer Basics or Equivalent experience.
